This ended up being an art piece I worked on as a little break before diving back into commissions and other art pieces. With Golden Week coming up, I felt like it would be a good idea to work on a piece like this. I wanted her to be pouting or irritated, like she did this for promotion but is not happy about it. This was definitely more on the fanservice side but it did feel rather relieving

Within a housing complex filled with roommates and those wanting to learn magic lays a library of secret spells and studies used to protect themselves, but were used for a evil genie's nafarious deeds, corrupting those and trapping them within these halls. Once freed, the path to her lair remained clear, but one does not leave a chest unopened before such event. As if luck and rolls were on the Bucket Brigade's side, Hannah was gifted "Golden Wings of Flying," allowing her to be much more versitile. Tho, I don't even think Hannah was aware of that.

This was an idea I wanted to do ever since it happened in our current DnD campaign! I really couldn't believe it either when it happened. So the focus was definitely on getting Hannah with the wings while also showcasing the amazing roll. I ended up going with the screencap popping out of the chest. A pretty cool representation if I do say so myself. I was worried about getting the wings pose and look right, making them not too yellow but also showcasing their grandeur. The weapon what something she had at the time "Hammer of Thorns" and while I prefer her with the sword, this is more accurate. I struggled more with the lighting as I wanted to fit the area while not being too overdone. The very last addition was a text box showing the new item as I'd figure people would be curious what it does.

It feels like a great honor to work on Lani again. For those that don't know, not only has HappySultan commissioned me in the past for one of his stories but also Lani was originally an adopt Sultan got and became Lani thru several changes. So, I was excited to be working on this commission. There wasn't a solid idea in the submission, so I ended up pitching something akin to the famous JJK "Hollow Technique, Purple" scene, only with her forming a galaxy within the flick. I made the genie tail swirl into the background and tried to have the background similar to what has come before while feeling like she's in the middle of space. I also tried to make her hair feel like space, with stars and different colors making up those purple space prints that are often seen. I really enjoy the expression I gave her too, a smile that's quite calm and comforting as she's making a galaxy so casually. Thank you so much again Sultan for giving me another chance to work on your galaxy genie!

Claudia won the OC Ballot, and while she did get a genie pic in 2023, I wanted to do something different. Something that would fit her charater. I got a lot of comms this month of the usual genie trappings; and it lit something in the back of my mind. For all the depictions, I never did one that I saw Claudia as: a hero. With the inspiration, and even something I remember hearing from Linkara in his Last Jedi review, I got to work. The pose was a little difficult but I found a good fit at least. The hardest part was the background, as I did not have any good references for a burning apartment, in video form yes but not in book or photo form. So somewhat winged it. The glow was something I felt was greatly needed, like the characters are in this protective aura as Claudia is flying out.

Saireni ([She/Her]) excitedly outside of her Blue vessel with rims of green and gold handles in the shape of fins, a green ribbon wrapped around it. Her genie tail is almost a crsyal blue water, waves within it swishing about. She looks to the sky excitedly as a wave crashes about behind her.

For Saireni, the life of a genie has become all she's really ever known. Tho, she's always had this fixation, perhaps affinity, for the ocean. This connection to the waters of the world that her masters seem to not have. She does not have a human form, or heavily steers towards a mermaid form to the point of making up a rule to keep it. When she is around the high tides, the roaring waves of the ocean; for a moment she feels a connection stronger than she could even realize. Like a calling that still remains that the curse could never strip away.

"When doing the OC Ballot of 2025, I was shocked and surprised by how many people voted for Saireni, the mermaid that's also a genie. With the redesign done by FalcoDArgento, the genie form was never really finished so I decided to do so. Rather than go with the usual way I did genie tails, I went with a water focus, with the background splash inspired by The Little Mermaid.
I wanted to keep as close to the redesign without it confusing people with other OCs, I think I did a decent job with that. I'm just super happy with how her genie tail came out as it was a good chunk of experimentation. If there's anything I would change, probably have the background a darker or less saturated blue."

Lunar New Year Approaches once more! This time around it is Hannah ready to celebrate. With a Cheongsam on and her hair stylized, she's ready to lead the charge for the Year of The Horse!

Lunar New Year is upon us and I wanted to do something for it. I couldn't last year but damn it, that won't stopped me this year. I went with Hannah since she was the centauress that won the "Year of The Horse" award in the OC Ballot. The last one was Claudia for Year of the Dragon so I wanted to keep on theme with it, ended up going with a classic red chinese dress with gold. Her sword felt necessessary as a part of her character. I was worried about the pose for a bit but it came out very celebratory in the end.

Within the ocean, lies two merfolks sharing a moment together. Once, they were a mermaid and a human sharing a bond that was secret. Now they share a moment, bonded as husband and wife, forever a part of each others worlds.

This was something I was hoping to do last year to lean into that "30 years of life" celebratory theme, since Kitami and Kevin were my first couple. But due to time, I wasn't able to. At least I got around to it now and I love how it came out! Trying to capture the sunrise underwater was tricky, playing with different colors for the shine was tricky but I landed on a more unique shine going with the romantic tone. A little addition to kitami's design was lipstick, as it was inspired by a recent commission I got. It's always nice to return to the first couple I ever created; especially on Valentine's Day.

Jenika ([She/Her]) looked with disgust as she tossed out her yellow vessel with a large gem embedded below the rim of the vessel into a garbage can.

Within the early days of being a genie, Jenika looked at her vessel and finally inspect it. But, seeing how she did not like most bottles, she saw it as gaudy and just tossed it into the trash without hesitation. Unaware of the binds to said vessel to say the least.

This was a fun idea I had in my head for a while, just the idea of a genie tossing out their own vessel with zero hesitation has so much potential for comedy. I used a lesser-known OC as she was the one I had the idea attached to. I also decided to try something different with the shine when I went with more cel-shading.
