I'll get around to fine-tuning and finishing this; I'll include it in my FFXV fancomic. Also, this does not mean that I'll be taking requests; I only made the exception because FFXV and also I hadn't drawn Iggy in forever. The rest of y'all want something, you gotta pay for it 😜

Okay so the stream started with backlog until @forgetthelyrics.bsky.social was like "I want some Ignis (FFXV) tiddies" and I basically caved Also I had to draw this entirely on a tablet which isn't easy for me especially since I don't have a screen tablet but an old Wacom Pen & Touch, lol

"OK" is also how I would put FF9. Funny enough I remember an interview about the character designs. Saying it felt if FF9 went for more realistic style like FF7 & FF8, then future titles would be locked into that. And then Kimahri in FF10 was the last time we had a radical party member design...

and i agree i find them both cute but i also wish celes got more scenes with terra... like maybe if we ever get a remake someday it could happen like it did with aerith and tifa in the ff7 remakes. they're both the same age and were in the empire so it was a missed opportunity...

I know FF9 gets cited as "the best" or "must underrated" (FF2 and FF5 would like word when it comes to underrated". But both times I played it, it felt so bland. With the gameplay getting praised for going back to simplicity. But FF9's combat doesn't add anything on top.

Out of the PS1 era I would consider FF7 to be the best of the three. But I still wouldn't call it a great entry or that it does anything better the SNES entries or FF10. It's just that FF8's Junction System is a "make or break" kind of experience.

I replayed FF8 & FF9 last year. I consider FF9 to be the entry that is a combination of the entries made before it. But that FF9 doesn't add anything new, making it where I would rather play the games it's calling back to than FF9 itself. Overall, it's an OK entry, but feels unremarkable to me.

I completed my FIRST magic the gathering draft! Went 1-2 but I'm just happy I won one game. We gotta start somewhere. Felt like I did a good job for my first time drafting. It's like a very skill based pokemon prerelease. Super fun format. And final fantasy 🥰

FFVII is kind of anti corporation/ cyberpunk in a way isn't it? FFXIV has a new zone that's like that too 😁 Cyberpunk is a good genre. I like it!

FF8 has many a gorgeous waifu.... Edea. Rinoa. Quistis. Selphie. Ellone (adult). Fujin. All are beautiful and perfect. But I always got drawn to these baddies. Ultimecia and Adel.😍
