It was banned (gacha law) in my country before I got to see Minwu ,_, I m glad they could meet again. Funnily enough the TCG seems to love ff2 and there s 2 beautiful Minwu cards. He even made box art and Fir too. (Where 5/26 boxes are just Lightning, and anotther 8 arts are ff7 )

in general, my opinion is that it's thoughtless to draw from the same or similar well of inspiration as ff9 without regard as to how it fits into the setting they are Currently putting it in and what implications that would have.
