I dozed off last night before posting for #WIPWednesday, so here it is a day late. I had a lot of time in the car this past weekend (not driving obvs), and I made so much progress that I started swatching for my next projects. Details in alt text. #Knitting #KnitSky🧶
3 handknit projects in progress, plus some swatches. In the back is a raglan sweater with lace details on the sleeves and front panel (Faux Paux Pullover by Brienne Moody) in a fingering weight suri silk naturally dyed by Petal & Hank. On top of it is a colorwork yoke sweater (Darkwater by Jennifer Steingass). The main dark green color is Ridge Sport by Ewetopia, in colorway, “Spruce. The contrast color is a chartreuse colorshifting yarn (Helix Light, also by Ewetopia, in colorway “Dew Drop”), At the top right is a shortie sock (Runaway Shorties by Sarah Jordan) in a variegated purple 2-ply sock yarn (Squishy Sock by Hank Me Home Tonight, colorway “Sangria”). Below that are 3 stockinette swatches. The first uses multiple colorways of variegated sock yarn in pinks and purples to make a gradient (the yarn was dyed by Northwoods Fibers, but they are no longer dyeing). The next are two color changing yarns from Ewetopia (Helix DK, this time) in blues.
