Extremely happy with the way this glaze combo came out. I'll definitely try it again. Three coats of Mayco Green Tea inside and out, one thick dab of Dark Flux just along the top both inside and out. #pottery #ceramics #potterysky #art
The outside of a ceramic bowl showing the color variations caused by using a small amount of dark flux at the top of the piece overtop of green tea glaze.

Polished up the bases of a few of these crystalline glazed pieces. I think this is the nicest one, I’m gonna make more of this shape #pottery #porcelain
A twisted porcelain vase that fades from dark blue at the bottom to light blue at the top. Near the top are several dark blue crystals in the glaze

Blows my mind that the two glazes oh the bright blue bottle are the same two glazes on the lower part of the other bottle. Same kiln, same firing, different clay body, not sure about kiln position. Chemistry! #pottery
A ceramic bottle sitting on a deck railing. it has bands of bright blue shiny crackly glaze alternating with bare white clay. There’s an oil spout in the bottle neck.

A ceramic bottle sitting on a deck railing. it has bands of overlapping glazes applied diagonally. The bottom layer is a matte dark green, then a speckle creamy orange, then a shiny purple. There’s an oil spout in the bottle neck.
