The doctor who specializes in skin diseases will dream he has fallen asleep in front of the television, later will wake up in front of the television, but not remember his dream.

I remember writing a thing for DWM a while ago about how the shot of Ky killing the Marshall is probably the most technically complex shot Doctor Who ever did (or any UK TV show, for that matter).

30/11/25 #DoctorWho rewatch The Temple of Evil / The Warriors of Death / The Bride of Sacrifice / The Day of Darkness. One of my favourite Hartnell stories, it's a tight 4 parter that scene by scene builds to a climax in ep2 then builds again to ep4. A perfect historical story.

Given that Babylon 5 borrowed the "open gunports" backstory from Frontier in Space and applied it wholesale to the Earth-Minbari war, it can bardly be a coincidence that there's also a Centauri ambassador with six tentacular genitalia. I'm wondering what else B5 took from Pertwee-era Doctor Who.
The ambassador from Alpha Centauri to Peladon in the Doctor Who episode The Curse of Peladon (1972). They look, as Doctor Who fans have occasionally noted, like a giant willy decked about with six smaller willies. Wearing a cloak.
Londo Mollari, the Centauri ambassador to Babylon 5, in the operating theatre in MedLab following his cardiac arrest in The Very Long Night of Londo Mollari (1998), with his surgical gown open to reveal four of his six tentacular genitalia.

What a beautiful meditation on the necessity of trust the last episode of the first season of Doctor Who is (The Sensorites)! Aliens in footie-jammies costumes notwithstanding! Somebody cared about that one a great deal!

Wait the series 1 finale of Torchwood makes it look like the TARDIS materialised in the Hub?! How didn’t I notice that?

The Administrator from Earth looks like a slightly off drawing of William Hartnell, possibly from a 70s annual.

Doctor Who: The Doctor, The Widow and The Wardrobe. This is perhaps the best Who Christmas episode ever made, and one of the best Who episodes ever made full stop. Claire Skinner manages to be the new companion and The Doctor in it simultaneously and aces it throughout.
Claire Skinner sits in a chair in an image that might make you spontaneously burst into tears if you know what’s happening.

Between work and life and such. I got the first chapter done, though and a few pages into the next. That's where the story opens up and more characters are introduced. I feel like I've got a good method down at this point, especially on the budget tools I have access to. But good enough never is lol
The Nth Doctor falls down the time vortex with the TARDIS far in the distance
The Nth Doctor attempts to regain control of the TARDIS
The Nth Doctor argues with the TARDIS over the lack of landing space
The Nth Doctor posed against the time vortex
