Random Tail Aptophilia Posting: Gary’s tail was meant to have a mind of it’s own. Many early concepts (see post below) show Gary’s tail with various accessories. Despite these two animation often use in promotion showing this part of his character, this trait is not seen in the final film.

I love how far the term Aptophilia has spread... It's just...why wouldn't you take joy in the parts that separate one from human? When I'm something as strange as a kitsune I want to feel my fluffy limbs interacting with the world...taking up space, having utility and hinderance. Lovely.
