Our one experience of going to the Isles of Scilly (2005) did not involve it. We flew from Stansted to Newquay, but Ryanair could not land in fog, so the plane went to Bristol. There, we got a coach for Penzance. Then, we got a helicopter to St Mary’s. “10 hours.” Could have flown to NY quicker.😂
