Thinking about the couple of weeks I spent in that ethereal place between earth and sky, all the while I, too, was at a crossroad in my life. Nothing's been the same since. I'd like to go there again, just to see who walks out the other side.

Putting on my thermals before heading out... In March, when I departed for the Pacific Crest Trail, if you'd told me I'd spend my late October in Alaska, I would've been very confused as to the exact nature of that particular wrong turn. 🤣 Tell me I'll be on Mars in 2031: I'll probably believe you.
